Meet GTCYS Staff Members
Jeffrey DeSutter, Development Associate
Development Associate Jeffrey DeSutter comes to GTCYS from United Health Group, where he worked as an implementation analyst. Educated at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, Jeffrey holds a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and rhetoric. He brings to GTCYS a wealth of experience in development and community service, from financial planning for The Alchemy Project, to tutoring disadvantaged adult students at Tacoma Community House and managing event volunteers for the Minnesota AIDS Project. For the past four years, Jeffrey has sung in the tenor 1 section of the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus, for whom he served as interim e-marketing coordinator in 2007. He makes his home in Minneapolis, and knows more about volcanoes than most Minnesotans. Ask him sometime!
