Remember that the Tuesday February 26 rehearsal will be at Good Samaritan Church, NOT at the FAIR School. Driving directions:

From Highway 62: take Highway 62 (from either direction) and take the Tracy Avenue exit. Go north on Tracy Avenue. After passing Benton Avenue, take a left (heading west) onto Grove Street and proceed until you see the church on your right.

From the north: Drive south on Highway 100 to the Vernon Avenue Exit. Follow Vernon Avenue west as it winds around. Turn left (south) on Tracy Avenue. Take a right (heading west) onto Grove Street and proceed until you see the church on your right.

Parking: Park in the upper (west) lot and enter through the double doors. Rehearsal is in the Fellowship Hall on the left.

GTCYS SINFONIA & PHILHARMONIC COMMUNITY CONCERT

CALL TIME: 1:00pm for both orchestras (each orchestra will have a brief brush-up rehearsal on stage)

WHAT TO WEAR:  regular concert attire outlined in your orchestra’s student handbook

WHAT TO BRING:  instrument, any necessary accessories (extra strings, rock stops, reeds, etc.), music. Students do NOT need to bring a music stand this time.

WHO CAN COME: This concert is open to the public. Bring your friends and family!

TICKETS: All tickets are $5 each and must be purchased at the door. The box office will be open from
1:00-2:00pm and the auditorium opens at 1:45pm for general admission seating.

HOW TO GET TO HOPKINS HIGH SCHOOL:

From 169 (coming from either the south or north): Exit on Cedar Lake Road. Go west (left turn) on Cedar Lake Road. Turn right (north) on Lindbergh Drive at stoplight. Take a left into the HHS Parking Lot.

From Highway 394 (coming from the West): Exit on County Road 73. Go South on 73 (left turn). Take a left on Cedar Lake Road at stoplight. Take a left on Lindbergh Drive at stoplight. Take a left into the HHS Parking Lot.

From Highway 394 (coming from the East): Exit on Highway on Highway 169 and go south. Exit on Cedar Lake Road. Go west (left turn) on Cedar Lake Road. Turn right (north) on Lindbergh Drive at stoplight. Take a left into the HHS Parking Lot.

Parking is free in the main lot on the south side of the building. Enter the school through the main entrance. The auditorium is on the left.

Directions to Rehearsal Venue

• From the south: Drive north on Highway 100 (past 394, past 55) to 36th Ave. N. exit (former Robbinsdale High School building is on the right as is a Cub Food Store). Turn Left on to 36th Ave. N. Go 5 blocks and turn right on to Adair Ave. FAIR is on the second block on the left.
• From the north: Drive south on Highway 100 to 36th Ave. N exit. Turn right on to 36th Ave. and go 5 blocks to Adair Ave. Turn right on Adair Ave.; FAIR is on the second block on the left.
• From the east: Drive west from downtown Minneapolis on 394. Exit on Hwy. 100 north. Drive past Hwy 55 to 36th Ave. N. exit. Turn left on to 36th and go 5 blocks to Adair Ave. Turn right on Adair, FAIR is on the second block on the left.
• From the west: Drive east on 394 to Hwy. 169 Go north on 169 to the 36th Ave. N. exit. Turn right on to 36th Ave. N. and drive past Boone, Winnetka, and Douglas to Adair Ave. Turn left on Adair; FAIR is on the second block on the left.
