Danielle is responsible for grant writing and the hands-on coordination of annual fund activities and special events to support GTCYS’ ongoing growth and strategic initiatives so that more young people have access to music instruction. Before joining GTCYS in Fall 2017, Danielle worked on the development team at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development for five years. She has also held positions at Playwrights’ Studio Scotland, the City of Shakopee and at Sesame Workshop, where she assisted in talent coordination and production of the 45th season of Sesame Street. A native Minnesotan, Danielle has traveled around the world pursuing her passion for the arts. Having studied in New York, London, and Scotland, she holds a master’s degree in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Edinburgh, and a BFA with honors in Dramatic Writing from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. In her free time, Danielle enjoys hiking, nature photography, and filmmaking.
