For intermediate-advanced students looking to be successful in their orchestras and chamber ensembles, accurate preparation of the music is essential. Dr. Asch performs with chamber music ensembles and orchestras throughout the Twin Cities, and his playing has been included in several movie soundtracks and musical albums.

I was one of the first cellists in the country to grow up as a Suzuki cellist and then train to be a certified Suzuki teacher. Over the years I have developed an extensive music reading program that focuses on reading all 3 clefs, etudes, scales, positions, and extensive ensemble skills through my highly successful cello choir program of which I have 3 levels. I also have several Boom Whacker choirs which is not only lots of fun but a wonderful way to focus on feeling, moving and truly understanding all rhythms! My studio also offers 3 solo recitals a year as well as a big cello choir concert in March and an overnight cello retreat in the fall. Email me if you would like further information about my program.
